Gülben Ergen objected, the acquittal of her ex-husband Erhan Çelik was lifted!

Singer Gülben Ergen's ex-wife Erhan Çelik was acquitted in the case where she was tried for allegedly sending insulting and threatening messages to her mobile phone in 2017. Upon Ergen's objection, the local court's acquittal was overturned by the Court of Appeal. The Court of Appeal decided that Çelik should be sentenced to a judicial fine of 6 thousand liras for the crimes of "insult" and "threat".

Allegedly, in 2017, the mobile phone of singer Gülben Ergen began to receive insulting and threatening messages from different numbers. Thereupon, Gülben Ergen filed a criminal complaint with the Istanbul Anatolian Chief Public Prosecutor's Office through her lawyers Altın Mimir and Emek Emre. In the investigation conducted by the Prosecutor's Office, it was determined that the numbers that sent messages to Gülben Ergen were Seda Kurtulmuş, assistant of her ex-wife Erhan Çelik, and Harun Güçlü, her driver.
